The best place to find your relatives is at
www.familysearch.org
When you first get to the site, you type in some names, where it first
opens. When you are there, you have to scroll down a bit, and click "advance
search" to add a spouse or child. You make a choice by clicking on the drop
down box, and chose "child, spouse, or parent". That is how I found all the
indexed records I have.
Once you find out where they were married or baptized, you can go directly
to the records for Corral Blanco by:
1) Scroll down the page to where it says "Browse by location"
2) Chose " USA, Canada, and Mexico"
3) Scroll down on next page to: "Mexico, Jalisco, Catholic Church Records"
4) Click on the BLUE link that says "Browse through Million +
records"....yes just do it :)
5) Next page Click on "Location"
6) Next page Click on BLUE link that is "Name of Church"
7) Next page you have to choose the year you are searching for example:
"Information matrimonial 1771"
8) Next Scroll through the records.

Well there are a lot of films available online for you to search for
Teocaltiche --- have a look here:

Hello Joseph,

The only thing I can help with is that is does not say Gutierres. it says
esponsales a persona alguna..." What looked like Gutierres to you is a
shortened version of "que no ha estada" written as qnoastdo.

Saludos,

Hi Nancy,

Crisanto Casillas and Mariana Vega were married in San Francisco de Asís, Tepatitlán de Morelos on 6 Mar 1848 son of Carlos Casillas and Antonia de Santa Cruz, Ignacio Vega and Manuela Rodríguez.

José Pilar Casillas Vega was baptized same place 20 Oct 1850 had many siblings who were baptized and married in Tepatitlán.

Carlos Casillas and Antonia de Santa Cruz were married in Jalostotitlán on 18 Mar 1823 son of Santiago Casillas and María de San José “Josefa” Vásquez, Vicente de Santa Cruz and Hilaria Angulo.

José Crisanto de Jesús was baptized in Jalostotitlán on 2 Nov 1823.

José de Santiago and María de San José Vásquez were married on 18 Jan 1797 in Jalostotitlán.

Vicente de Santa Cruz and María Hilaria Angulo were married in Jalos on 8 Jun 1799.

Ignacio Vega and María Manuela Rodríguez were married on 9 Jun 1824 in Jalos.

Unfortunately I have not looked at these last three marriage records so you might want to take a quick look online to continue your

It would be easy to see the actual file where you find this term. But in Spanish when you say "auto criminal" it refers to a criminal report. A very good tool to find any difficult or antique word is the Real academia Española www.rae.es. This is the definition from it:

2. m. Der.

But are you sure is it written "Criminales"?

Good luck!

It seems that Vicenta Flores (mother of the broom) could be sister or cousin of Carmen Flores (father of the Bride) But you have to go to the Marriage Information that use to be a separate book of the same parish. The information could help you even to find the grand parents of the coupe. Good luck.

be careful when interviewing to not fluster her with direct questions.
Rather than ask "What year did your grandfather die?" Ask "Were you
married at the time your grandfather died?" or "How old were you when
your grandfather died?" or "Was Rosalie born by then when your
grandfather died?"

Answers to those questions will give the same answer since they can be
calculated and then later you can ask the direct question. The last
thing you want to do is "shut down" a conversation with too many direct
questions. In fact some of the best information I have received is from
just letting my older relatives tell me family stories. If the
conversation strays you can always gently swing it back on topic. You'll
find that suddenly someone that couldn't remember things remembers sooo
much detail about the family.

Have fun I only could wish I had my grandmother to listen to.

y no llegaron a México

Asunto: [Nuestros Ranchos] ADN Sanchez

According to the document it's not a town, it's a rancho. It could be the
rancho called Barranca de Portales located west of Calvillo, northeast of
Michoacanejo, and southwest of El Rodeo. All of those places show up on
Google maps. I don't see any other rancho called Barranca, although some
have gone through name changes over the years and some that exist aren't on
Google maps.
Some of the ranches that don't show up on Google maps will show up on
www.pueblosamerica.com I did a search there for La Barranca, Aguascalientes
and I got the following:

Barranca de Portales -
http://mexico.pueblosamerica.com/i/barranca-de-portales/
Barranca del Roble - http://mexico.pueblosamerica.com/i/barranca-del-roble/
La Barranca (Municipio de Jesús María) -

not the answer you are looking for but I noticed that most records ask for the
signature and the majority respond they do not read or write.
That is especially true of the women. It's a great question though and I also
would be interested in the answer.

Hi my name is Lynda Chavez and I must have made a mistake when I posted my introduction, I think that I only sent a link to one of my family lines. I have been working on some of my family lines and there are so many that I was hoping that others would have some connections to some of my ancestors. On my grandmothers side we are linked to Avila and Macias from Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco. It was only until the last several years in doing some family tree searches that I discovered that many (more than we thought) family members traveled to
