Salvador - you might have better luck contacting the local standing parish
priest or the "notario". Through these two sources, I was able to get
valuable historical information about my husband's side of the family. Often,
teachers come from the larger city - many do a stint in small towns, but
few ever stay or invest in the local history or its residence.
