I had this Marcos de Aleman 6x grandfather married to Maria Velasco y Pena (Maria Pena) no marriage record.

Second Marriage to Agueda de Coronado (6x great aunt) No marriage record.

I recently found that he remarried in Durango. If the same person he marries well into his 60+ years!

I am now trying to confirm it is the same Marcos married to all three though his 3rd marriage does state he was married to Agueda Coronado.

I was in Teocaltiche, Jalisco last month for Las Fiestas and I fell in love with the spirit of people. It was magical. The festivities were awesome and of course "la Catedral" was AMAZING. One of the most memorable event was the processions into the church with "las bandas" playing "las mananitas" to the virgen. I will be back next year. Que viva Mexico.

I have found the painting of Juan Olivan Rebolledo.

He was an Oidor of the Real Audencia Government of Guadalajara (Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) that had jurisdiccion over several provinces including Texas.

He married the youngest daughter of Conde of Hacienda de San Mateo of Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico - Don Fernando De La Campa y Cos. They had married in 1724 in the Ciudad de Zacatecas.

he was also elected as Governor of Texas.

I am hoping someone can assist me in locating the mg record of this couple
who married on 3 Jan 1655 in Mexticacan. The record should be on or about
image 80 in roll #226724, Nochistlan mat. 1627-1686. The record jumps from
Sept 1654 to Apr 1655. I've skimmed every 10 images for out of place
records, and image by image, 70-115. Does anyone know the image number?

Based on the info above and baptismal records, this family moved around Tamazula, Zapotlan el Grande, and Tizapan el Alto. The question is who were the parents of Gaspar Martin Barragan and Teresa de Torres y Maciel? The answer lies in the documents related to a capellania that was founded by Juan Martin Barragan, an uncle of Gaspar Martin Barragan. Here's the link to that capellania:

The capellania is a treasure-trove of information for this family. In it we learn that Juan Martin Barragan, Gaspar's uncle, used to own La Hacienda de San Diego de Zitala, that he bought directly from Diego de Villasenor Bocanegra for the amount of 10,000 pesos.

We also learn that the parents of Gaspar Martin Barragan were:

I am looking for information on my Diaz line. It goes back to Teocaltiche. I am stuck on Santiago Diaz and Juana Villalobos. Does anybody have a similar tree that could help me go farther back?

I recently spoke to my dad’s tia who was born in 1930. She has been a valuable source of family history for me. Several of her stories have been spot on to the date. In talking she told me about two brothers who came to Mexico after the war. One stayed in Lagos de Morenos and had three wives and children. The other brother, Manuel Ocampo?, left and married a women in Altolinga before settling in Los Velas. She died shortly after giving birth to their son. Manuel is the one who flourished our family in that area.

I realize this could be family folklore, however, found that many of these stories have some truth rooted in them. I have traced my Campos family back to the 1600’s (Juan de Campos and Isabel Fernandez de Llamas) but have not been able to go beyond. I would like to find more. Wondering if any of this story rings a bell for anyone, hints and or clues. Thank you in advance.

Hi. I'm stuck once again and you've all helped me before. Looking for any records for Esparzas born in Amatalan De Canas. Currently I'm stuck with Onofre Joseph Esparza Y Barbosa, his wife Catharina Banegas. They would have been born around 1720, give or take a few years. their son is Gregorio Antonio de Esparza Y Barbosa married to Mariana Lopez de Aguilar . they had 4 kids, that i know of. the first is Ana Yganacia Barbosa Lopez born around 1759. Juan Esteban Esparza born around 1767. Joseph Raphael de la cruz Esparza born 1768. All born in Amatlan de Canas, and a sister Maria Joespha esparza, born 1783 in cocula, Jalisco.

Here is the Marriage record for Gregorio that has Onofres name. Its the 2nd to last entry bottom right.

Nicolas is first married to Maria de la Sida (or Cida) y Roxas but is known in records as Maria de Roxas. In his second marriage with Manuela Delgado Ruiz she is referred to as Manuela Ruiz. they marry in 1708. In a record of Juana de Dios Minjares de Solorzano her father is Nicolas Minjares de Solorzano and her mother (the scribe writes) Manuela Paaez. Has Anyone researched this family and perhaps know if this is just a mistake and they are all the same Nicolas Minjares? Thanks for the Help!

where can i find marriage records for a jose (aka joseph lorenzo )coronado and or maria margarita Segovia? still trying to find parents for them i had managed to find some records regarding their children as follows: balbina theordora maria severiana and or pedro coronado . all children were baptized near Santa Maria DE LA Asuncion, Santa Maria Del Rio, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. oldest child balbina was born 1765 so they had to be married around close to 1760's.

Segunda Generación:

El Contador Rodrigo de Velasco Tesorero de la Audiencia de Nueva Galicia se casó con Doña María de Cárdenas y se avecindaron en Michoacán.

Tercera Generación:

Don Antonio de Velasco se casó con Doña Isabel de Grijalba, hija de Álvaro de Grijalba II y Catalina Ruiz, a su vez hijo de Álvaro de Grijalba I y Francisca Pérez de Castro originarios de Mérida, Extremadura, España. Don Álvaro II entregó a Don Antonio ciertas tierras en las faldas del Volcán de Colima.

I am hoping someone can help me identify/confirm Miguel's parents. I have
not been able to locate records of his marriage to Phelipa Galarza,
daughter of Antonio Galarza and Feliciana Carrillo de Sandi y Lopez de
Rubalcaba. I descend from his daughter, Feliciana Alonso de los Inojos,
baptized 2 Dec 1713 in Teocaltiche, where her sister, Juana Francisca, was
baptized in 1711. Feliciana married Bernardo de la O Contreras in
Teocaltiche on 11 Feb 1733. There are two other siblings, Pedro and Maria,
identified by their later marriage records. I suspect that Miguel is
related to Pedro Alonso de los Inojos and Ana Dominguez of Aguascalientes,
but have never been able to find documentation of a link. Another clue
that makes me think they are related is that the godparents of Juana
Francisca are Xptoval Flores y Maria Dominguez. Can anyone help?:
